Events in summer 2007
The program for summer 2007
The following events are planned during the summer of 2007:
July 8th – A mass in the church ruins will be held in cooperation with Möðruvallaklausturskirkju
July 21st-22 nd– A medieval market will be held at Gásir. Guests will have the opportunity to go back to the late Middle Ages and learn about the occupations and culture of that time. Interpreters in Middle Age clothing will offer things to buy and an interesting program based on life in Gásir.
August 28th – A hike is scheduled around the Gásir area and to the main historical sites in the neighbourhood: Skipalón, Hlaðir and Mörðuvellir.

er sjálfseignarstofnun í eigu Akureyrarbæjar, Hörgársveitar, Dalvíkurbyggðar, Eyjafjarðarsveitar, Grýtubakkahrepps, Svalbarðsstrandahrepps, Minjasafnsins á Akureyri, Handraðans - miðaldahópurinn og Gásafélagsins.
